I had a really nice time here! Definitely a more low-key and relaxed atmosphere. The staff is extremely nice and accommodating. There is a strong sulfur smell in the water in the rooms but I don't think it's too bad. Although it is right off the highway and next to a big road, it is beautiful and calm. A good value if you're looking for a getaway on a budget!

My husband and I decided to stay here for our anniversary! This is our second stay and we definitely happy with the accommodations. When we first checked in we were put in a room with a broken fireplace. The staff was amazing and switched us to another room that ended up being an upgrade. The mineral spring water is so nice to soak in and the atmosphere is relaxing! There is also an outdoor pool and hot tub that can be used year round.

Love this place! The grounds are gorgeous, rooms are so comfy, and service is amazing. The large hot springs tub in the room is so relaxing. My husband and I had one of our best massages ever in a side by side experience at the spa. The bartender in the wine bar was funny, personable and helpful in giving us advice about the area. The nightly scones and cookies were delicious. We ended up not doing as many activities outside the resort as we had planned because it was so nice to be there. A big part of the benefit of the “Lithia Springs” hotel is that you have access to natural mineral spring water in the room for bathing and there is a smell associated with the natural springs. It is healing and amazing, but if you haven’t experienced natural springs, be prepared for a smell!

My wife and I stayed here on a return trip from Washington State and were immediately overwhelmed by the very strong Sulfur smell in the room. While advertised on the website and having visited mineral springs in the past there was no escaping the smell… it was in the sink water, toilet water, shower, tub water. Thankfully we brought bottled water with us as that was the only way we could brush our teeth/wash our faces. The sulfur smell lingers on your skin just from washing your hands so we decided to forgo showering the one night we stayed. My wife is also pregnant and it’s not advised for her to be exposed to a high level of sulfur which would have been impossible to avoid if we had stayed longer. We were prepared for a sulfur smell in the bath but not so much for every water source available to us. We agree with previous reviews that if you are at all sensitive to the “rotten egg” smell of sulfur this is not the resort for you. The natural water source has also caused the jets in the tub to corrode and build up lime deposits making the fixtures appear very old/in disrepair. The ottoman in our room while cute was filthy; all of the tufts in the ottoman are filled with crumbs and the ottoman itself was covered in stains. We were also charged a pet fee for my wife’s service dog despite declaring that she was service dog (with appropriate service vest) upon check-in. The positives include a large room size, added ambiance of the electric fireplace, plenty of free parking with ease of access to the room and the quiet/relaxing atmosphere. We will skip this hotel on our next visit. However, Ashland is very cute and worth a repeat visit with alternative accommodations.

It's the water! Lithia Springs Resort is a luxurious space with top shelf amenities and service. My wife and I celebrated our 30th anniversary and enjoyed the weekend...but the springs (and the general scent of the property) is unavoidable. Either you don't mind the mild Sulphur smell of the water or you can't stop smelling it. I swear that my shower water smelled like green onions! You can't blame the resort for offering a unique and enjoyable experience because the mineral springs are mineral springs!

Drawn in by the hot springs tubs, but ultimately not worth it, IMO. Convenience and style are more conducive to a proper Ashland experience. Lithia is on the outskirts of town, right next to the interstate. Not within walking distance to anything. The place was friendly & clean; had a good hot breakfast. However, unless you go by "Nana", or proudly sport a "Live, Laugh, Love" sign in your house, the ambiance is likely to appear dated. Would not recommend for those under the age of 60.

Our family friends recommended Lithia Springs. We stayed here one night on our drive to California and had a lovely visit! Very cute location and breakfast. Next time I will plan to stay longer and enjoy the pools and wine. Very comfortable beds and it was wonderful having a huge soaking tub in our suite especially after the long drive.

This place is beautiful. Stunning court yards, beautiful views, lovely pools. It is also very reasonably priced which is rare these days. I love that they have afternoon tea, breakfast and snacks included in your stay. There is also wine tasting on site! The only reason it gets 4 stars and not 5 is because it is a tad out dated. The shower in my room had no hot water option that I could find and terrible water pressure. The tvs are also old which means that guests cannot stream their own movies. All this said I still highly recommend this place. I will be coming back.
